1874 Horace Cole's cheese factory established at the Corners

1883 Frederick Sargent Huntington begins ministry; Theron J. Higgins's mill built in South Worthington
1884 Huntington opened first public library above Corners Grocery
1887 First Congregational Church burned (April 2), new church bell hung (Nov. 10)

1940 New Consolidated School (later Russel H. Conwell School) built

1942 Women's Benevolent Society parsonage turned over to the church

Henry Snyder's Express, 1936. Henry H. Snyder (1985-1986) was active
in Worthington civic and business activities; his fleet of trucks, heavy equipment and buses
made him a major employer and his charitable gifts, a major benefactor of the town.
