Clarence and Florence Bates passed the house to their daughter, Cottrell, who sold to Robert Lawson, who sold to new owners (Racz) by 1999. At one point it was Ward&#039;s store, possibly a shoe factory? The &#039;L&#039; was changed in the 1970s. Was also a Bed and Breakfast for a while. Some of the boards and beams of the disassembled house were used in the restoration of the First Parsonage on West Street by Jerrilee Cain. Nathan Branch was original owner.
