Shawl is hand made; crocketed loose chain link; white, wool, fringe around entire length. Mary Elizabeth Damon White wore this as "an old lady." Badly damaged by moths and mice.

The accompanying note says "this bib was used by farmers when they went to Church and did not change their shirt collar. In fact, there are two bibs in this box and the other seems to be less fancy. They are both spotted and need conservation.
