Lester built this house from fieldstone found in the immediate vicinity in the late 1940's to 1950's. He lived there with wife Mary for many years until her death in the 1990's. Mr. Champion passed away in 2009. As of the end of 2009, the house was an uninhabitable ruin. This house is located about 1.3 KM E of the traffic light. Lois was certainly an active member of the community. It was a pleasure serving with her on the Board of Deacons for the church in the late 1980's and early 1990's. I learned a lot from her.
