According to Bee Smith, there was a February storm and a number of simultaneous chimney fires. On the back of the photo is says: &#039;Perry House remodeled stood where Haris [sic] Colins house now stands. Burned in Winter 97 + 98. (Owned by Ed. Dodge (He built the house now standing, 1961). Plank window frames with beading on inside edge of frame were found in the walls of the house at their original locations, were copied, sand blasted to raise the grain and put in place. Clapboards were affixed. Rough side out to give weathered appearance. A creosote stain that weathers to a natural color was used as a finish.&#039;]]></dcterms:description>
