Daguerrotype of children of Frances Emeline (born October 16, 1820) (married November 11, 1847) and Austin Healy Buxton, son of Simon and Francis E. Buxton. There were five children and it is unknown which two are in this portrait. The children are:
Rebecca, born December 6, 1848
Ella Jane, born August 5, 1850
Charles Noble, born March 20, 1852; died August 7, 1852 (age 4 months)
Edwin Healy, born July 20, 1854
Charles Noble, born September 3, 1855

Black and white Daguerrotype is losing emulsion but the portraits of the children are quite clear. The gold frame is ornate. Handle with extreme care.
